There is an excellent pub within ½ mile and the
accommodation is set amidst attractive countryside on the edge of a
network of footpaths which lead to neighbouring villages and beyond.
There
are many places of interest to visit in the surrounding area. The
nearest being Malmesbury which is England's oldest borough and is
dominated by the Abbey and its gardens which feature hundreds of
different varieties of roses. Also within easy reach is Westonbirt
Aboretum, famous for its Autumn colours.
